Welcome to the Tasburgh History website

Other sources such as Wikipedia can provide a chronological history of the village, and  Norfolk Heritage Explorer has information on the village archaeology, so the aim of the Tasburgh History Group in creating this website was to look at the history of the village through its buildings and the lives of some of the people who lived and worked here, cross referenced between the two where appropriate. However, in many ways Tasburgh is also the product of its geography and physical features so we have started with some information on the parish itself.

Some of the sections are still incomplete, and further material will be added in due course.
